Painting a New Canvas
This workshop was specifically
designed to provide a safe haven
for individuals to begin a
journey of self-awareness,
growth, and transition. It is
dedicated to facilitating the
discovery, confrontation,
examination, and resolution of
those issues that interfere with
fulfillment of an individual's
potential and spirit. It is
intended to be the springboard
for a personal reclaiming or
reawakening of what one might
have left behind. The occasion
would also provide a framework
to develop and sustain learning
opportunities that would assist
each participant in
contributing, not only to their
own personal growth, but to
becoming a more valuable asset
to their communities as well.
(for groups of 10 or less -
Fall option)
The course
explores topics
such as:
-
assessing
one's
personal
temperament
-
identifying
personal
needs that
have been
ignored and
forgotten
-
wellness of
body, mind,
and spirit
-
venturing
into and
interacting
with groups
of
dissimilar
cultures or
value
systems
-
making sense
of rapid
changes in
the
environment
in which one
lives.

Individual and Group
Coaching
“It is easy to be the
person you have always
been, for it requires no
change, no
self-reflection, and no
growth. It may appear
that changing yourself
requires giving up
something. In reality
there is no need to give
up anything – you simply
add to what has been."
Taro Gold in Open Your
Mind, Open Your Life
General Coaching
Philosophy
This is a good
description of the
process of coaching.
Coaching is about
choosing to add to what
has been, to grow, to
reflect and eventually,
through one’s
development, to inspire,
to lead, to develop and
to be an agent of change
for oneself, one’s
community or one’s
organization. Contact us to learn
more about individual
and group coaching and the numerous coaching personalities that we can offer.

Couple's Communication
-
It’s not about counseling,
it’s about connecting.
-
It’s not about fixing, it’s
about finding.
-
Gain new insights into the
mystery and art of
authentic, intimate
conversation – even if you
can only give it ten minutes
a day.
-
Learn what makes you tick,
what makes your partner
tick, and why you both get
ticked off - more
importantly what to do about
it.
-
Practice simple ways to ask
for what you want and need
with the best possible
chance of getting it.

Make an investment in
your most important
lifetime relationship!
|
This retreat has been scheduled
at the request of many people
who have been participants in
Greystone's Leadership
workshops, which includes an
entire module on Temperament.
When they completed this module
they recognized how valuable
this information is to
their life, at work and at
home. For that reason and at
their request, we have agreed to
make it available to couples and
now we have a firm date and
place.
We will get together
briefly on Friday night, have
breakfast in the morning
and spend an entire day devoted
to opening the lines of
communications, with fun
exercises and discussions. We
will have a brief
evening session after dinner and
again on Sunday morning. If you
choose to spend the rest of the
day in this setting, there are
bikes at your disposal for use
on a terrific bike trail just
down the road, and water
activities of all kinds,
including a pool on the
premises.
The workshop
is for anyone who feels the
needs for a get-away weekend and
appreciates the importance of
good communications in their
marriage and family. You will
take home information that will
be helpful in dealing with your
children, your mother, your
siblings and anyone else with
whom you need to connect.
